Pat is an experienced facilitator.
She’s done residencies for hospitals and towns and she’s run workshops in libraries, youth centres,
schools, care homes, theatres, women’s centres and prisons.
Pat was a tutor for several
years on the University of Bolton’s BA and MA Creative Writing courses. She is also a visiting guest
tutor for the University of Buckingham.
Pat worked
as a tutor for Oxfordshire’s Multi Arts Project. More recently, Pat has been working with the Oxford Concert Party on an intergenerational project
in Buckinghamshire.
Pat is currently the
Writer in Residence for HMP Long Lartin, a residency set up by the Writers in Prison Network. She is also the Creative Writing
tutor for The Theatre, Chipping Norton.
Pat has given readings nationally and internationally. She was one of the shortlisted finalists at the Strokestown International Poetry Competition in 2009.
